Not every irregular heartbeat is serious. At times intense workouts may lead to the increased heartbeat which isn’t serious and in the same way, there’s slow heartbeat when a person is in rapid eye movement (REM) sleep such conditions are usually not serious.

In general most of the abnormal heartbeats are harmless. But be cautious if they look highly uneven or are the result of a damaged or weak heart.
